Chad Z. Moore

Chad Zerck Moore, 74, of Curtice, Ohio, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on January 16, 1940, in Fremont, Ohio, to Archie and Juanita Zerck Moore. Chad graduated from Fenn College in Cleveland, Ohio, with an Electrical Engineering Degree. Chad was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He worked as an engineer for Goodyear Aerospace where he held multiple patents, Gould Ocean Systems, and Picker X-Ray. Chad was a member of the Amateur Radio Association for over 40 years. Chad is survived by his sons, Todd H. Moore of Northfield Center, Ohio, and Dane Stefanie Moore of Hudson, Ohio, two grandchildren, Ethan and Kelsie, and sister, Vesta McDaniel of Arlington, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Leslie Moore, and brother, Douglas Moore. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend John Stirewalt at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor, with interment to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions for Chad may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 800 S.
