Chad James Kosanovich, 26, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in the early morning of July 13th, 2021, surrounded by family. Chad grew up in Perrysburg, attending St. Rose School and then St. John’s Jesuit High School. He started his career at St. Luke’s Hospital as a tech while also going to nursing school. After graduating with honors from Mercy College of Ohio, Chad became a nurse in the same emergency room. He recently left his first work family, taking a job in the ICU at Toledo Hospital. Chad loved the outdoors, board games, late night bonfires with family and friends, and countless trips for Chinese food and Mr. Freeze. He could recall any episode of Friends or Scrubs. But most of all, Chad loved people. He loved spending time with family and friends, and he devoted his whole life to helping people. The family would like to thank his work family at St. Luke’s who did everything humanly possible to keep him with us. Also thank you to everyone who has and continue to reach out with their love and support. The outpouring of support, both in person and online, make evident just how many lives Chad truly touched in his twenty-six years. He would have liked to say goodbye to all of you. Most importantly, he would not want anyone to shed a single tear. Instead, always remember the good times and boy were there so many good times. All are welcome to come celebrate Chad’s life on Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 4 P.M. until the time of a Bonfire Service at 9 P.M. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Nurses Foundation (nursingworld.org). Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
