Celeste Elaine Below, 57, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, September 02, 2014 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH, surrounded by her loving family. Celeste was born on November 02, 1956 in Sandusky, OH, the daughter of Burton Below and Georgianna M. (Zetzer) Below. Celeste will be remembered for giving so much to others, yet it seemed she had so little. She always laughed and smiled yet most of us knew her struggles. Celeste loved life and took the time to do the things that satisfied her soul. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Son: Bryan (Amanda) Floro; Daughters: Hillary (Craig) Cerny and Jessica Kukay; Grandchildren: Gavin, Vayda and Vylet Floro, Ruby and Charlie Cerny; Sisters: Teresa (Richard) Johnson, Jennifer (Timothy) Allen, Jessica (James) Troller and Suzanne (Michael) Rickard; Brothers: Christopher (Diane) Below and Mathew (Norma) Below and several loving nieces and nephews. Celeste was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Michael Below and infant son: Dana Kukay. Celeste was an adventurous, gentle, kind soul that loved music, concerts, crafts, holistic healing, pottery, ceramics, making candles & soaps, fishing, camping, horseback riding, traveling, helping & giving to others, Native American culture and the way of the Southwest. She enjoyed spending time with her family & friends and loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11-2pm, Saturday, September 06, 2014 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. The celebration will continue from 3-6pm at the Lagoon Saloon, 3131 W. Wayne Rd., Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Celeste may be given to Ruth Ann’s House or Stein Hospice.
