Cecilia Isabel Garcia

Cecilia I. Cruz Deckman Garcia, 54, of Gibsonburg, OH passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 20, 2023. She was born on August 15, 1968 in Lima, Peru to Julio C. and Zoraida R. (Zuniga) Cruz. Cecilia graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1987 and then from Owens Community College. She most recently worked for the Home Depot Distribution Center in Luckey, OH for the last 4 years. Cecilia was a member of the Northwood Jehovah’s Witness Congregation. She loved to cook, especially Peruvian food, and she enjoyed listening to Latin music while she was cleaning or driving. Cecilia was a hard worker who was dedicated to her family. She especially loved and lived her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a strong woman with a good heart, who always wanted to help.

Cecilia is survived by her sons, Curtis (Kelsey) Deckman and Hans (Brittany) Deckman, grandchildren, Dominic Deckman, Ariana Deckman, Lillyana Deckman, Paxton Deckman, and Landon Deckman, parents, Julio Cesar and Zoraida R. Cruz, and siblings, Julio (Marcela) Cruz, Zoraida (Jose) Villa, and Maria Del Carmen Cruz.

Visitation for Cecilia will be Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, OH 43430 with funeral services to follow at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the Northwood Jehovah's Witness Congregation, 224 Lemoyne Road, Northwood, Ohio, 43619.
