Cecilia Helen Early

Cecilia Helen Early passed away peacefully in her sleep on her 92nd Birthday, May 6, 2008 at Sunset Village in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on May 6, 1916 in Kissimee, Florida to Rene and Evelyn Kopf Ghyselink. Cecelia learned to drive when she was 43 years old. She was a member of the swim team at the Catholic Club and was an avid reader and gardener. Her husband, Ray Early, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Renee Smith; son, Roland Beverley Early; grandchildren, Dawne Mitch Mitchell, Patrick Daphne Early and Matthew Hazel Early; seven great-grandchildren and sisters, Ruth Rowe and Dorothy Schenk. Visitation will be held at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral prayers will begin on Friday at the funeral home at 9:30 followed by Mass of the Resurrection held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, at 10 am.
