Cecil Gray, Sr.

Cecil Gray of Toledo, OH passed away on August 26, 2016 at his home in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on October 9, 1938 to Mary Atkur and William Thomas Gray in Tupelo, Mississippi. Cecil was an active member of Unity United Methodist Church. He had a profound love of life, enjoying any activity that he was involved with, including fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. Preceding Cecil in death is his wife Beatrice Ann Gray; parents Mary and William; daughter Tammy Bartley; son Mark Bryant; 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Left to cherish his memory are his children Greg Bryant, Cronnia Spitzer-Matkin, Linda Konesni, Dawn Smith, Cecil Gray Jr., Joyce Gray, Maureen “Penny” Cash; 19 granchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 1 sister and 4 brothers. Visitation will be held at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 2-6 P.M. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 where he will lie in state from 10 am at the Unity United Methodist Church 1910 E. Broadway St. Toledo, OH with services beginning at 11:00am.
