Cecelia A. Lambert, affectionately known as "Cece" or "Ceil," passed away on October 4, 2026, at StoryPoint in Findlay, Ohio. She was 100 years old.
Cecelia was born on September 7, 1926, in Perrysburg, Ohio, to Ellsworth and Anna (Stewart) Redouty. She was a graduate of Perrysburg High School and Davis Business College. She was a bookkeeper at St. Anthony Villa in Toledo, Ohio and Boysville, Michigan.
Throughout her life, Cecelia was active in her community and belonged to BPW, the Perrysburg Senior Club, and the Sunrise Lions Club. In recognition of her service and dedication, she was a proud recipient of the Melvin Jones Award in Perrysburg.
Cecelia enjoyed sewing, crafts, plastic canvas, and playing Bingo. She also had a particular fondness for Reese's Cups. Known for her spunky and feisty personality, she brought a distinctive spirit to those around her. Her family will especially miss their conversations with her and the many stories she shared about her younger years and days gone by.
Cecelia is survived by her children, Robert (Marty) Lambert, William Lambert, Jack (Karen) Lambert, and Marlene Lambert-Piper; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Anna Redouty; the father of her children, Eugene E. Lambert; and her daughter, Darlene (Robert) Lambert-Burrows.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St., Perrysburg, Ohio. Burial will follow at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery.
