Cecelia Cummins

Cecelia Cummins, age 89, of Maumee passed away peacefully with her beloved family by her side on Friday November 21, 2014 at Ridgewood Manor.  She was born on September 24, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Cecelia (Archambeau) King and was raised in Monclova.  Cecelia graduated from Monclova High School. On September 16, 1950 she married Eugene Cummins, and he preceded her in death on June 18, 2011.   She was a cook for the Anthony Wayne School District for 19 years and retired in 1987.  Cecelia enjoyed, dancing, cooking, playing cards, sewing, and bowling.  Most of all, she loved and adored her family. Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eugene, brother William King and aunt, Jeannette Stark. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanine (David DuBois) Hunt of Hamilton, Ohio; granddaughters, Dr. Natasha (Adam) Holt and Jada DuBois, both of Grand Rapids, Michigan; great granddaughter, Annabelle Megan Holt, 1  great grandchild due in May; and step-son, Robert A. Cummins. The family would like to extend a heart felt Thank You to the Staff at Ridgewood Manor, the Great Lakes Caring Hospice, and especially to the Schultz Family for their love and care for their mom and grandmother. Visitation will be held on Monday November 24, 2014 from 2-7 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Great Lakes Caring Hospice.  Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
