Cathy Jean Willey

Cathy J. Willey, 75, of Elmore, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Ebeid Hospice Center, Sylvania, Ohio, after a brief illness.

Cathy was born April 26, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio, to Warren and Pearl (York) Lenz. She married Terry E. Willey December 15, 1968, in Williston, Ohio. Cathy was employed at Hills Department store for 10 years, and K-mart for 5 years. She enjoyed outings with friends in the Red Hat Society, alumni lunches, and had a passion for antiquing with her husband.

Family was most important to Cathy. She was a wonderful cook, party planner, and delighted her family with an overabundance of their favorite foods at every family celebration. She enjoyed going to their many events, and capturing those moments with photos. Cathy was an avid photographer who loved photographing families, children, events, nature, and animals. She enjoyed taking photos of local sunflower fields and visiting the Toledo Zoo. Cathy loved Halloween, and family joining her in the festivities. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, devoted grandmother and great grandmother.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Terry; children, Bryan Willey, Christopher (Jennifer) Willey, and Tracy Rachow; added blessings of 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 10 bonus great-grandchildren; and sisters, Connee Larimore and Carolyn (Alan) Lieske. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa, Monday, February 9, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral services Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 11:00 am in the funeral home, where the family greet friends after 10:00 am. Private interment: Elliston Cemetery. Preferred memorials in the form of contributions to the Toledo Zoo.
