Cathy L. Ayling-Trausch

Cathy L. Ayling-Trausch, 57, of Walbridge, passed away on October 1, 2016 at home. She was born on January 9, 1959 to Benjamin and Carolyn (Taylor) Ayling in Sylvania, Ohio. Cathy married her beloved husband, John M. Trausch on April 10, 1982 in Toledo and he preceded her in death. Cathy worked as a Customer Service Representative for Alltel and AT&T. Always loving and forgiving, Cathy saw the best in everyone. She loved art and animals, especially elephants. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, John (Glenda) Trausch, Michael (Erica and Leesa) Trausch, Laura (Michael) Brickles and Joseph Trausch; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; step-mother, Patricia Ayling; brothers, Benjamin (MaryAnn) Ayling and Rick Ayling. One nephew, David (Jesse) Ayling. Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and son William Trausch. Friends will be received at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Graveside services for Cathy will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00 am. in the Lake Township Cemetery, 3550 Walbridge Road, Millbury, Ohio 43447. Memorials may be made to the family.
