Cathie Mae Adams

Cathie Mae Adams, age 70, passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, July 15, 2018 after a courageous fight with metastatic cancer. She was born on May 3, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to William Bill and Virginia Ginny Adams. A vibrant, loving, selfless, silly, consistent, caring mother and grandmother, she lived her life by The Golden Rule and passed that characteristic on to her family. She was a self-proclaimed “hairstylist extraordinaire” for almost 30 years and had thousands of clients and friends throughout the area. She is survived by her four daughters: Brandy, Nicole, Rickelle (Jimmy), and Roxanne (Greg); and her ten grandchildren: Georgia, Kyleigh, Becca, Zane, Leland, Clay, Kaysey, Sophie, Jett, Jade; and sister, Linda Ramm. Cathie was preceded in death by her parents. She was an optimist with funny stories for just about every one of life’s challenges. She was the best friend and mother a person could have. Visitation will be held at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, in Maumee on Wednesday, July 18th from 2 to 8pm, with a memorial service at 8pm. The family suggests any donations in her name are given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
