Catherine Sarka

Catherine Sarka, 79, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on July 7, 2014. She was born on November 1, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Daniel and Virginia (Rutter) Evanoff. Catherine was a longtime member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and was active as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Walbridge Senior Center. Catherine is survived by her sons, Ken Sarka, Jr., Mark (Stephanie) Sarka, daughter, Becky Mincheff; grandchildren , Amanda Mincheff, Brad and Zach Sarka; brothers, George and Andy, and sister Sonia. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John and Ben and sister Pat. Friends will be received on Friday, July, 11, 2014 from 5:00 PM. to 8:00 PM. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419 -666-3121). Visitation will continue at 10:00 AM. Saturday, July 12, 2014 with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465. Burial will be privately held in St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery, Oregon, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jerome Catholic Church or the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
