Catherine Helen Michels

Catherine Helen Michels, age 94 of Maumee died, Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the Elizabeth Scott Nursing Care Center after a brief illness. She was born August 18, 1913 in Maumee to John and Louise Dennis Michels. Catherine was employed at Sears-Roebuck & Company for 29 years retiring in 1977. Catherine was a long time member of St. Josephs Church, Maumee and its Rosary and Altar Society. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Louise Michels, Janet Mike Zieman, Joe Michels, Mary Dave Mutchler, Carol Matt McGookey, Bob Marissa Michels and George Jane Hankinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Anna Marie Zenk and Helen Hankinson and brother Leo Michels. Friends may call at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee on Monday, from 9:00 A.M. until the services begin at 10:15 A.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church Maumee at 10:30.
