Catherine Jean Hansen

Catherine Jean Hansen, age 65, of Maumee, Ohio, died in her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. She was born on May 24, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Herbert and Joan Becker. Cathie was employed by US Trustee and as a legal secretary for several law firms in Toledo. She was an active member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Maumee. Cathie enjoyed shopping and traveling, especially to Chicago and New York. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Cathie is survived by her loving husband, Roland Jr.; children, Derek (Mindy) and Angela (Ryan) Paul; grandchildren, Joseph, Owen and Libby Hansen and Elliot, Presley and Kendall Paul; siblings, Steven (Nancy) Becker; Rodney (Rosa) Becker; Charles Becker; Jorgiann (David) Schuck; William Becker; Martin (Laurie) Becker; Jennifer Becker and Paula Becker; father-in-law, Rolland Hansen, Sr.; brothers-in-law, Edward and Terry and sister-in-law, Marsha (Dan) Wolf; and best friend Twyla Northrup. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery Becker; mother-in-law, Hilda and sisters-in-law, Susan Norwalk and Doris Hansen Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 112 E. Wayne Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
