Catherine E. Frost

Catherine E. Frost, 92, of Curtice, died early Sunday morning, March 6, 2011, at Orchard Villa Nursing Home, Oregon, Ohio. She was born March 28, 1918, in Toledo, Ohio, to George A. and Lilly Young Edwards. On November 16, 1935, she married Clarence E. Frost and he preceded her in death September 17, 1979. She was a homemaker and worked as the bookkeeper for the Frost Trucking Company until the late 1960s. Catherine loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed! Catherine is survived by her sons, Jack E. Rose Frost, Sr. of Genoa and David J. Donna Frost of Curtice, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and sister, Carol Grodi or Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Sally Hoops, brothers, Glen, Harold, Bud, Ray and Richard, and sister, Mabel. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, in the funeral home with interment to follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family has suggested memorials for Catherine to the donors choice.
