Catherine A. Filyo

Catherine A. Filyo, age 59, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019. She was born on June 2, 1960 in Oregon, Ohio to the late John and Elizabeth (Katon) Filyo. Catherine was a life time member of Epiphany of The Lord formally known as Saint Thomas Catholic Church. She was horror movie buff and proud mom of her fur baby, Sheba. Catherine was known to have a good heart and a kind attitude; always looking out for those she cared for. Left to cherish Catherine’s memory are her brothers, John and David Filyo. Preceding her in death are her cousin, Karen and parents. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contribution can be made in Catherine’s name to her family. Friends will be received Friday, July 19, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, Ohio 43616 (419 691 6768). Funeral Services will follow, beginning at 3:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
