Catherine L. Coombs

Catherine L. Coombs, age 82, formerly of Oregon, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008 in Sunset Village where she was a resident the last six years. She was born on August 14, 1925 in Toledo to Guy and Cora Hallenback. A graduate of Waite High School, she was a secretary for the former Refiners Transport now Penske for 20 years. She was a life time member of St. Marks Lutheran Church. The widow of Ralph Coombs who died in 2003, she is survived by son, Robert Kitty Coombs; daughter, Constance Coombs; grandchildren, Erika, Lauren and Garret Coombs. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church.
