Catherine Sue Condon-Fruth

Cathy Condon-Fruth passed away peacefully in her Clearwater, Florida home on February 18, 2011. Cathy was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 7, 1956 to Robert and Connie Esterline Condon. She graduated from Sylvania High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She received her nursing degree from The Toledo Hospital School of Nursing. Most of Cathys career was spent as director of a local health care agency where she enjoyed helping others. Her smile lit up the room and her generous heart helped many others when in need, if only with a kind word or gesture. She was married to Jim Fruth on February 2, 1985 atop the scenic Hawaiian mountains. They lived in Toledo until 2004 and have since lived in Clearwater, Florida. Her nieces and nephews were the light of her life, her great love for them and their love and devotion brought her many years of joy and happiness. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Condon, and her grandfather, Richard Esterline. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Jim; mother Connie Swartz; grandmother Cula Esterline; sisters Debi Don Garris and Sharon Grubb; brothers Michael Maryann Condon and Chris Michelle Condon; nieces and nephews Bryant Krista Gardner, Brad Garris, Sarah, Matt, Marc, and Mikey Condon, Kristen Phil Ulin, Lauren Grubb, Cara and Dakota Condon and Rob, Annie and Christina Fruth; great nieces Tyler and Rylie Gardner, and Kaylee Ulin; great nephew Drew Gardner; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and family will be received at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave, west of Corey on Sunday February 27 fron 1-5 pm with funeral services to follow at 5 PM.
