Catherine E. Clark

Catherine E. Clark, 95, formerly of Sylvania, died peacefully on October 23, 2014. She was born November 19, 1918 in Ida, MI to the late Frank and Clara (Billmaier) Diroff. Catherine was a homemaker and had been employed with Strader Cleaners for 10 years and was a longtime Tupperware representative. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Assumption. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo and traveling to Florida. She is survived by her children, Judy (Robert) Braatz, Lonie (Bill) Mays, Rick (Sun) Reau and Jeff (Melody) Reau; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her husbands, Emery Reau in 1969 and Harry Clark in 1998; daughter, Jackie Starr; one brother and four sisters. Family and friends are invited to visit from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2649 U.S. 20, Swanton (please meet at church). Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
