Carrol E. Miller

Carrol Miller (Nee-Samide) born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1943 has passed away on October 1, 2024.

Carrol Loved her pets, cats and dogs alike. She enjoyed feeding the birds. She also enjoyed puzzles, coloring books, reading books, and growing plants. She had the best green thumb!  She liked watching the Cleveland browns and the Guardians.

She married Thomas Miller on May 2nd of 1964. They were married for 48 years until the death of Thomas in 2012. They had four children together. Michael Miller (Debbie Miller), Yvonne Paramore (Ron Paramore), Michelle MacGillivray, and David Miller. She has seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Meagan Paramore with Draegen, Mariah Miller with Prestin, Liam and Emma, Allison Paramore with Karter, and twins Vada and Koda, Zak Miller, Nicholas and Katie MacGillivray with Bryson and Brynlee, Justin MacGillivray, and Cara MacGillivray.

She is survived by two sisters Norma (Jim) Collins and Nancy Sheets - widowed.

She has proceeded in death by her husband Thomas Miller and brothers Joseph Samide and James Samide and both parents, Elda (Perz) and Joseph Samide.

Friends and family may be received from 12:00pm-2:00pm on October 8, 2024, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452. A funeral ceremony will be held in the funeral chapel at 2:00pm following visiting hours. Memorial donations in Carrol's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
