Carrie Sue Muirhead Brinser

Carrie Sue Brinser, 50, of Clyde, OH, passed away, Sunday, March 02, 2014 at Stein Hospice Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. Carrie was born on November 16, 1963 in Vicksburg, MS, the daughter of William D. and Rissa Lowe Muirhead. She was the manager of the Family Dollar store in Bellevue, OH for eleven years. Carrie was a member of the Eagles Club in Bellevue and Clyde, OH. She loved camping and scrapbooking. But her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carrie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Mother: Rissa Lorensen; Step-Father: Eugene Lorensen; Daughter: Tami Marie Edwards; Sons: Charles Robert Edwards II and Chester CJ Brinser; Grandchildren: Bryce Anthony Latham and Keyera Nicole Edwards; Companion: Lloyd Stover; Brothers: James Muirhead, John Karen Muirhead, Thomas Pat Muirhead and Dana Lisa Dorsey III; Sister: Hattie Brad Hamons. Carrie was preceded in death by her father, brother: Robert McNeely, step-mother: Wilma Dorsey, grandparents: Horace & Marlene Hickman and niece: Jennifer Muirhead. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8pm, Wednesday, March 05, 2014, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, March 06, 2014 in the funeral home. Memorial donations in memory of Carrie may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
