Carolyn F. Moore

Carolyn F. Moore age 83 of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Ohio Living, Swan Creek in Toledo. She was born in Altoona, PA on June 11, 1935 to William L. and Winifred (Wilson) McClure. Carolyn was employed at Owens-Illinois for 20 years retiring in 1986. Carolyn graduated from Libbey High School and attended Miami University, University of Toledo and earned her bachelors degree in business. She was a member of Christian Fellowship, Citizens Police Academy in Maumee and CERT Emergency Response Team. Carolyn enjoyed Christian/Faith Literature, golf, bowling, politics and cross-country skiing. Earlier in her life, she was an athlete and enjoyed being a lifeguard. Surviving is her loving husband and best friend of 38 years, Herbert Moore; brothers, William (Nancy) and John McClure. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends will be received at the Christian Fellowship of Toledo, 6711 Pilliod Rd., Holland, OH on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 5:30-7:00 PM.
