From the pushback of her bright pink wheelchair when she was upset and saying, "I don't want to be here anymore," which we all knew she did not mean, to the smile and belly laugh that will long be remembered - this was Leigh!

She was the United Way ambassador, the camp challenge, Easter Seals ambassador, the Disney World "Dreamer and Doer" for Morning Star school, among many other things.

Leigh was Miss Social Butterfly! She loved her Sunshine Home, her friends, the staff and nurses. They were all SO loving, caring and giving. She also loved her Hospice Nurse, Jana.

Leigh loved her family, especially her sister, Katie; brother-in-law, “brother" Patrick; and her niece, Rozzie, as well as her extended family that were all a part of helping her to become the sweet, sensitive and caring individual she was. We like to think that she loved Mom, Lynda; and Dad, Kirby, a lot, unless they were telling her what to do!

Leigh brought a lot of joy and smiles to everyone. She will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers.
