Carolyn June Kinnee

Carolyn J. Kinnee age 78 of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2016 at her daughters home in Lakewood, OH. Carolyn was born in Toledo on June 1, 1937 to John G. and Thelma C. (Grover) Hullibarger. She was a 1955 graduate of Maumee High School and earned her bachelor degree in home economics from The University of Toledo. Carolyn was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, and its Rosary and Altar Society, Sweet Harmony Acapella Chorus and the Maumee Garden Club. She volunteered as a girl scout and cub scout leader at St. Joseph Catholic Church; Mobile meals, Claver House, Project Linus, Anne Grady Center and Paws and Whiskers. Carolyn was an avid supporter of the Toledo Zoo, Toledo Symphony and The Toledo Museum of Art where her son currently has his artwork in the museum store. She is survived by her daughter, Andrée (Russell Sundberg) Kinnee; son, John Austin (Fran) Kinnee; niece, Amy Hullibarger and nephews, John and Jeff Hullibarger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andre and a brother, John G. Hullibarger II. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Prayers will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 9:30 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Maumee.
