Carolyn "Rosie" Rose (Miles) Fee

Carolyn "Rosie" Rose (Miles) Fee, age 87, a longtime Defiance, OH resident, died April 20, 2026, at Otterbein Sunset Village Retirement Home in Sylvania, OH, where she has been a resident since 2018.

Rosie was born January 14, 1939, in Toledo, OH, to the late Harry and Pauline (Crist) Miles. She graduated from Defiance High School in 1957 and attended Bowling Green State University for one year. She married Donald Fee on January 3, 1959.

Rosie was a faithful member of St. Mary's Parish while living in Defiance, OH. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother affectionately known as GiGi. Rosie enjoyed playing bridge, golf, bowling, reading, and volunteering with several community programs. She traveled extensively through the United States and Europe with her husband.

Rosie is lovingly survived by her daughter, Vicki (Jeff) Blake of Toledo, sons, Donald Jr of Paulding, OH, Douglas Fee of Naples, FL and David Fee of Defiance, OH; grandchildren, Jameson (Samantha) Fee of MI, Megan (Mark) Hamlin of Okemos, MI, Andrew (Jessica) Fee of Wauseon, OH, Emily (Casey) Hice of Liberty Center, OH, Natalie (Lawerence) White of Toledo, OH, Jade (Adam) Coressel of N. Fort Meyers, FL, Lindsay (Tyler) Ebinger of Clover, SC, Jacob (Brenna) Fee of Ocala, FL; 19 great grandchildren.

Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fee; her parents; her granddaughter, Alicia Fee; and her grandson-in-law, Derek Stender.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Otterbein Sunset Village, who have taken such loving care of Rosie over the past several years. Additionally, the family extends their gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassionate care these past 3 weeks.

Rosie will be cremated. Family and friends are invited to visit at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH, on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., where a memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery at a later date, privately.
