Carolyn Louise York Dove

Carolyn Louise Dove, age 73, of Swanton, Ohio died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born February 12, 1942 in Shelbyville, TN to Lawrence E. and Lavada (Liner) York and on March 6, 1965 she married Claude L. Dove Jr. Carolyn was a 1960 graduate of Springfield High School. She worked for many years throughout the Toledo area as a Home Health Aid. She enjoyed traveling to casinos, crossword puzzles, camping, traveling as she was well known by Toledo’s K100 listening audience as a frequent contestant winner. Carolyn will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Claude L. Dove Jr.; children, Charles (Anita) Dove Sr., Renee (Dave) Thomas, Ramona Rasey, Jeff Dove, Claude Dove lll, and Lisa Bender; grandchildren, John and Jessica Sullivan, Kristin Willard, Erin and Chris Ziethlow, Ronald Rasey, Chad Rife, Charles Dove Jr., Jonathon Dove, Jeffrey Dove, Shantia Coles, Jessica Bender, Katie Dove, Tracy Dove, Tiffany and Steven Chelton, Jessica Studabaker, Brittany Thomas and Justin Warbington; 12 great grandchildren as well as her brother, Jerry York not to mention many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lavada as well as her granddaughter, Amber Dove. Friends will be received on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. -1:00 PM.
