Caroline E. Speaker

Caroline E. Speaker, age 81, passed away on January 1, 2021. Caroline was a lifelong resident of Toledo, Ohio until the last few years where she was a resident of St. Claire Commons Care Center in Perrysburg. Caroline was an avid Catholic and attended mass and said the rosery at the chapel. She enjoyed working on puzzles and reading books from the library at St. Claire Commons Care Center. She also enjoyed her special programs on T.V.; watching nature, where we put a bird feeder outside of her window; doing crafts, playing bingo and socializing with the residents at the fireplace. On Mother’s Day, her daughter visited with gifts for her mom. Caroline looked forward to her brother and wife coming and bringing special food for her. Tony Packos was her favorite being she was of Hungarian decent. She was married for over fifty years; her husband has been deceased for 3 years. She had 3 children, one son and two daughters. One daughter surviving as well as many nieces and nephews. A mass will be said at St. John XXIII in Perrysburg, Ohio. She will be sadly missed by her family.
