Caroline M. Grames

Caroline M. (Davis) Grames, 75, of Millbury, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Caroline was born on September 19, 1940 to Wilbur and Ruth Davis in Toledo, Ohio. She married Robert Grames on July 11, 1959. Caroline was a licensed practical nurse for over fifty years working for Toledo Mental Health Center and the Veteran’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After retirement, she worked part time for Heartland in Oregon, Ohio. She was a past member of Christ United Methodist Church in Oregon and loved bowling, flowers and bird watching. Surviving are her loving husband Robert, daughter, Debra (Greg) Poll; son Robert Grames; grandchildren, Nathan (Ariana) Poll, Aimee Latham and Anthony Poll; eight great- grandchildren; brother, Wilbur (Pauline) Davis, and sister, Ellen Grabach. Caroline’s family would like to give special thanks to Ambur Tillet and Renauta Lohmeyer, her aides, for the loving care that they provided to Caroline in the last years of her life. According to Caroline’s wishes there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11:00 am. in Restlawn Memorial Park, 3665 Genoa Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Arrangements are by Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio (419-666-3121).
