Caroline F. Abbott

Caroline F. Abbott, 81, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born October 24, 1943 in Wigtown, Scotland to William and Caroline (Hodgson) McGarrity. Caroline married Charles J. Abbott, Jr. on January 31, 1970 in Perrysburg, Ohio. She became a citizen of the United States shortly after the marriage.

She was a bookkeeper for Cline and Cook Attorneys and retired in 1984. She attended St. Rose Catholic Church and enjoyed knitting, reading and visiting the casino. Caroline loved animals and would rescue them all if she could. She also loved her family and treasured her and Chuck’s visits to Scotland.

Caroline is survived by her husband, Chuck. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
