Carole Coulson Loesch

Carole C. Loesch passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. Born March 9, 1936 in Lucas County to Lewis and Miriam Coulson. Preceded in death by her parents and beloved son Richard, she is survived by children Elizabeth Loesch and Leigh Loesch Macaro (Anthony) and by grandchildren Richard Karl Loesch III and Eric Loesch. A graduate of Libby High School (1954), the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing and Mary Manse College. Her professional career was spent at the Toledo Hospital where she taught emergency nursing for many years and served as Vice-President for Nursing. Carole enjoyed a happy retirement as a horse woman, gardener, and tender of many beloved animals including horses Thor and Rian, wolfhound Rys, and greatest whippets Cait and Bri. Her later years were spent with her devoted hound Ryn. Tirelessly, she ensured her children and grandchildren’s needs were met. She was also a ceaseless champion for fairness and compassion, serving with great dedication in so many ways for many years at Unity of Toledo. All who met her will remember her for her professionalism, thoughtfulness, and excellent taste. May she rejoin the ones she loves and may the wind be ever at her back. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017. Interment Toledo Memorial Park.
