Carol Wagner

Carol Wagner, loving wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, passed away on April 28, 2013. Carol was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 27, 1955 to Robert Cook and Donna Thornton Cook. She married Jeffery L. Wagner on October 20, 1979. They were married 33 years. She was a 1973 graduate of Maumee High School, and a 1975 graduate of The University of Toledo where she earned her associates degree in computer programming. Carol was employed at the East Toledo Family Center as a financial coordinator. She was involved in the Maumee Band Parents Organization. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, the Glassman Drum and Bugle Corp., and Music Under the Stars at the Toledo Zoo. Carol also enjoyed being with her G.N.O. ladies, one of her fun and rowdy groups. Carol is survived by her husband, Jeffery; mother, Donna L. Cook; sons, Matthew R., Andrew J., and Nicholas B. Wagner; granddaughter, Charlize J. Wagner; brother, Daniel C. Cook and sister Ann M. Jim Huddleston. Also surviving are many beloved nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Robert D. Cook. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, May 1, from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, Ohio. A service for Carol will be held on Thursday, May 2, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
