Carol Juanita Rink

Carol J. Rink, 94, of Genoa, Ohio, died Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the Genoa Retirement Village, Genoa. She was born on October 15, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Casimer H. and Martha (Reiter) Wojciechowski. Carol had worked for the General Motors Hydromatic plant in Toledo for many years, retiring in 1996. Carol was a real pet lover her entire life and treated all of them as if they were her children. She enjoyed watching westerns on TV to pass her time and had attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa. Carol is survived by her daughter, Sharon L. Wojciechowski; son, Randy L. Rink; 7 grandchildren; 19 grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas “Tom” Wojciechowski; infant grandson, Randy Rink, Jr.; sisters, Lois Lambprecht, Evelyn Ciesieczyk and Elaine Czlapinski; and brothers, Elwood and Gaylord Wojciechowski. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Hospice of NW Ohio, especially Gabby and Lindsey, for their care and compassion throughout Carol's illness. Due to the Corona Virus restrictions, all services will be private. Burial will take place at the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, Ohio.
