Carol Jean Neuber

Carol Jean Neuber, age 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania. Carol was born March 28, 1921 in Neenah, WI to the late George and Mae Knuth. She moved to Toledo with her family graduating from DeVilbiss High School. Carol was a graduate of University of Toledo where she was a charter member and past-president of Kappa Delta Sorority and received her degree in education in 1943. Carols many activities included gardening, crafts, sports. She excelled at golf, winning the ladies club championship in Emporium, PA three times. She enjoyed snow skiing at Denton Hill in Pennsylvania and Holiday Valley in New York. Carol is survived by her son, Larry (Suzanne) Neuber; grandchildren, Stephanie and Jeffrey Neuber; niece, Jo Ann Anderson Heath; and nephew, Terry Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ralph Neuber, and sister, June Anderson. Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N.
