Carol L. Morrison

Carol L. Morrison, age 72, passed away October 27, 2010, in Lexington, South Carolina. She was born in 1938 in Fremont, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Lorena Vogel Baur. At the age of three, she moved with her family to Toledo, Ohio, and graduated from Scott High School in 1956. She attended Cornerstone College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was married to Edwin Morrison on July 4, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio; he survives her. She is also survived by her children, Amy DeLaine of Lexington, SC, and Brad Dana Ray of Alma, CO; a sister, Joan Vic Olsen, of Lake Forest, CA, and a brother, John Barbara, of Columbus, OH. She moved from Michigan to South Carolina in 2007. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, Ohio, where the funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo. The family suggests that memorials be given to the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism, P. O. Box 8585, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8585, marked for the support of Dr. and Mrs. V. B. Olsen, who were missionaries to Bangladesh for 35 years.
