Carol J. Mesker, 74, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at her son’s residence in Belle Chase, LA. She was born on October 14, 1944 in Port Clinton, OH to Harold and Wilma (Schmidlin) Behm. Carol worked as a case manager for Ottawa County Job Family Services for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. She was a lifetime member of Zion United Methodist Church, Elliston, OH where she taught Sunday School for many years. Carol enjoyed collecting clowns and snowmen, and her WalMart shopping trips. She loved her Boxers, Tyson Gator. Carol was a great caregiver, always wanting to help take care of other people. She loved her family and was all about her grandkids great grandkids. Carol is survived by her daughter, Michelle (William) Chevalier, son, Clifford L. (Kristi) Mesker, Jr., 3 grandchildren, Lauren (Justin) Smith, Rebekah (Garrett) Lawson, and Korrin Thorbahn, 2 step-grandchildren, Logan (Emily) Ford and Cody Conaway, 2 great grandchildren, Symon Lola Smith, sister-in-law, Gerry Behm, and nieces nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Corrine Behm, and brothers, Kenneth Loren Behm. Visitation for Carol will be on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2-8 p.m., with family present from 2-4 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Chuck Kaylor 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018 at Zion United Methodist Church, 2212 N. Benton Main St., Graytown, OH. Interment will follow in Elliston Cemetery, Graytown, OH. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Carol may be given to the Riverview Healthcare Campus Auxiliary, Oak Harbor.
