Carol May Mason

Carol May Mason, 78, of Maumee, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo on April 28th, 2017. She was born in Ashkum, IL on May 5th, 1938 to Clarence and Alma (Hilgart) Peeken. Carol was a nurse for 30 yrs at St. Lukes Hospital in Maumee. In addition to people, she was a caregiver to 2 rescued, beloved Greyhounds that will miss her dearly. She also enjoyed tending to her garden. Carol is survived by her son, Mark Mason; daughters, Marjorie Frank and Marcia (Joseph) Camino; grandsons, Jarrett and Kyle; sister, Phyllis Breeden; brothers, Stephen and John Peeken; and sister, Donna Bargman. Preceding her in death are her parents , husband, Jack , son, Michael and brother, Duane Peeken. At the request of the family services are private.
