FAREWELL I have lived a long good life, not one of money or “things”. But one of the joys of nature, and all the beauty it brings. The dreamy silence of falling snow, and the chill of a wind that sings. The heavenly smell of the evergreen trees and the beautiful green of spring. Then summer comes with warmer days and an array of multiple blooms, and best of all, the birds that sing in their canopy of leafy rooms. The breath taking color of autumn and the crunch of dry fallen leaves, these are what make life worthwhile, not that of money and things. So I say farewell to all of you who have shared this life with me, as I go to be with the birds that sing, and the fragrant evergreen tree.
