Carol A. Guiher

Carol A. Guiher, 77, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Friday, August 01, 2014 at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH, surrounded by her loving family.  Carol was born on February 21, 1937 in Warren, PA, the daughter of Carl Waldemar Christian Jensen and Pauline Frances (Simonsen) Jensen.  She graduated from Warren High School in Warren, PA in 1955.  On April 24, 1967 in Warren, PA Carol married Donald Guiher and he preceded her in death on March 03, 1996.  She worked as a deli clerk for years for Lawson’s and Kroger’s both in Port Clinton.  Carol was also a homemaker and had a special love of dogs.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Son:  James E. Hale, Jr.; Daughter: Laura L. Reynolds; grandchildren: Abbey Hale, Tracy Rise, and Jason Rise; great granddaughter: Paige Corbin, and several nieces & nephews.   Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Julaine Sebastiano, and grandson: Dana Sebastiano. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.  Memorial donations in memory of Carol may be given to Island Safe Harbor Sanctuary, Gypsum, OH or the American Heart Association.  Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
