CAROL E. DASHNER Carol Dashner, one of God’s angels went to heaven on Thursday, August 3, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Born to Carol (Benson) and Don Dashner Sr., August 15, 1963. Preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, many aunts and uncles, niece, Kimberly Rivers and brother-in-law Kurt Johnson. Survived by her daughter, Tracy Lynn Dashner who was adopted out at age 9 against Carol’s will; sister, Violet Johnson, brother, Don Dashner Jr. and (Michelle); nephews, Andrew Dashner, Thomas Miles, Christopher Dashner, Sylvester Rivers, and Kurt Johnson; nieces, Chloe Dashner, Lilly Schneider, Kelly Dashner, and many cousins. Special aunt, Nancy Dashner, of Michigan, Uncle Richard Benson, of Florida, very special aide, Shauna and special friends, Troy and Lisa Eason of Columbus, Ohio and Danny Poling of New Lexington, Ohio and many great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at Neville-Shank Funeral Home, 5052 Dorr Street, Toledo, OH (419-535-0951) where funeral services will be held Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Clinic Cancer Center.
