Carol Cook, 87, of Rossford, passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 31, 1937 in London, England, the daughter of John and Doris Tempany. Carol married Fred Cook on April 5, 1958 at St. Michael-At-Bowes in London, UK. The couple had 3 children, Melanie Jane, Miranda Lee and James Frederick Bruce.
Though Carol had many jobs over the years, her greatest one was raising and loving her family. Her home was always open and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also known for her love of Christmas, musicals, jigsaw puzzles, sparkly clothes (and sometimes hair), a fun martini (especially a lemon drop), her signature scent Chanel No. 5, and always having a song to sing for any situation (which she passed on to her daughters).
Carol is survived by daughters, Melanie (Rick) Varner and Miranda (Ricardo) Hinojosa; grandchildren, Thomas (Samantha) Velker Jr., Cameron (Sarah Tucker) Hinojosa, Savannah Hinojosa, Jasmine (Kris) Iannantouno; great grandchildren, Hailey and Olivia Velker, Kayden, Braysen and Ambrose Iannantouno; sisters Tessa Fenn and Elsa Young; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, her son, James Frederick Bruce, brother Don and parents.
Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The service for Carol will be on Friday, November 21 at 11:30 at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home,
