We are relieved it was quick, not only for her, but for everyone who loved and respected her. We would like to thank everyone we have met on our mom’s journey, including the staff of the Toledo Clinic Cancer Center (Maumee), along with the ER Recovery and ICU staff at Bay Park Community Hospital. We can't express how grateful we are for her selflessness. While many people may have known our father, our mother was the rock, the care giver, the sounding board, and a GENUINELY wonderful person. She never asked for credit, but deserved all the credit in the world. Words cannot describe how much she is loved and missed. We love you MOM. Please keep our family members in your thoughts. The best way to honor our mom is to do something selfless for others. Keep her light shining.” Friends will be received Thursday July 7, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main Street Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121).
