Carol Ann Brokaw

Carol Ann Brokaw died peacefully in Toledo, Ohio, on Thursday, April 24, 2025. She was born on November 11, 1946, to John Geiger and Linda (Richardson) Geiger in Maumee, Ohio.

Carol celebrated 55 years with her husband Robert Brokaw in January 2025. She was a doting mother to their daughter Melanie, and enjoyed cooking and baking, and loved her family deeply. Carol grew up with her cousins and cared for them as if they were her sisters and brothers. She enjoyed being involved in the lives of her two grandchildren and cherished spending time with her great-granddaughter. Carol also worked full-time for Ernst and Young for over 30 years as an administrative assistant, retiring in 2000.

Carol is survived by her husband Robert; daughter Melanie (Michael) Patton; grandchildren: Riley (Ryan) Blackmore and Garrett Patton; great-granddaughter Reese Blackmore; and brother, Robert (Sharon) Geiger. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Linda Geiger; brother James Geiger and sister-in-law Violet Geiger.
