Carlos Machado

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carlos Machado, who left us on April 28, 2025. Born on January 31, 2006, Carlos was a vibrant young man whose life, though brief, was filled with joy, humor, and love for his family and friends.

Carlos was a devoted sibling who treasured the time spent with his family. He especially loved spending time with his brothers and sisters, whether playing PlayStation games or simply enjoying each other’s company.

Carlos found happiness in fishing and landscaping, activities that allowed him to connect with nature. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends, sharing laughter and creating memories that will be fondly remembered.

Carlos had ambitious plans for the future, intending to serve his country by joining either the US Marines or the Army after finishing his senior year of high school in the fall.

Carlos’s spirit, kindness, and aspirations touched the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community.

Carlos was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Britt. He is survived by his parents, Patricia and Juan Machado; siblings, Juan Andres Machado-Britt, Jacob Machado, Juan Machado, Jr., and Daniella Machado; grandparents, Dale Britt, Andres Machado, and Josefina Moreno; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
