Carlene Therese Barker, 51, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 01, 2009. She was born January 26, 1958 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Carl and Romilia Hernandez Popkins. In Port Clinton, OH, she married Danny Herald Barker and he survives. Carlene worked as a cook. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Husband: Danny Herald Barker of Port Clinton, OH; Daughters: Cheryl Jesse Sartin Beach of Port Clinton, OH and Sandra Shawn Seth Salyers of Port Clinton, OH; Son: Sean Leah Ashton Gordon; Grandchildren: Deagan Beach, Carter Sartin, Bridget Sartin, Samantha McGlothlin, Anjelica Matthews, Kamily Therese Salyers, Phoebe Salyers and Arianna Carter; Brothers: Lynn, Carl, Darren, Chris and Kevin Popkins; Mother: Romilia Popkins; Step-son: Danny Ray Barker; Step-Grandson: Blake Barker; Step-son: Michael Barker; Step-Grandchildren: Mikey and Abigail Barker; Step-Daughter: Michelle Barker; Step-Grandchildren: Caleb Seamen, Brandon Seamen, Timothy Vance Jr. and Cheyanne Oncho; Mother-in-Law: Virginia Bevins; Friends: Brian Stout and Becky Johnson. Carlene was preceded in death by her father: Carl Raymond Popkins, friends: Timothy Vance and Bruce Johnson. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8PM, Friday, March 06, 2009 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Saturday, March 07, 2009 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
