Carl H. Wheeler

Carl H. Wheeler, 64, of Toledo, OH passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on February 25, 1957 in Toledo, OH to Robert and Geneva (Sargent) Wheeler. On August 20, 1985 in Toledo, OH he married Kathy Lou Nigh, and she survives. Carl enjoyed many things in life: collecting plastic model cars, vintage muscle cars, working on cars, puzzles, fishing, bowling, camping, doing yard work, playing cards, eagles, Buckeyes & 49’ers fan, listening to Oldies music from the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s, and most of all being with family and occasionally having a few beers together. In addition to his loving wife of over 36 years, Kathy, Carl is survived by his sons, Carl (Charity) Wheeler and Dustin (Tori) Wheeler, great grandson, Devin Hill, brother, Robert (Sandy) Wheeler, sisters, Helen O’Neil, Sheila (Art) Brubaker, Rita Wheeler, and Charlotte Sizemore, and special nephew, Wayne Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Dale Hill, and his in-laws, Albert and Lavina Nigh. Visitation for Carl will be Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH, where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022.
