Carl Paul Schultz Sonny passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Carl was born in Toledo, Ohio, December 4, 1929, he graduated from Libby High School in 1947 an enlisted In the US Marine Corp the same year. He proudly served his country in the Korean War were he was wounded and received the Purple Heart. Carl married the love of his life Rosemary Lewandowski on December 18, 1954. Carl was a truck driver for much of his working life retiring from Carolina Trucking. He was mostly a quiet man but loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Carl was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Elsie Schultz and granddaughter, Cristy Helton. Carl is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children, Linda Schultz, Carl Paul Christine Schultz III and Tracy Davis; grandchildren, Jason Helton, Michelle and Erika Schultz, Cassidy Davis and Hunter Davis; great-grandchildren, Dakota Lewandowski, Mailikai Lockmeier and Maekaela Helton; brother, Glen Schultz and sisters, Lajean Carl Franklin and Nancy Gerald Manley. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice, especially Amy and Jim for all their care and compassion shown. Family and friends may visit on Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 10 12 noon at the Shepherd of the Valley Church, 13101 Five Point Road, Perrysburg, Ohio.
