Carl L. Phillips

Carl L. Phillips, age 93, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born on July 21, 1924 in Pt. Marion, Pennsylvania to Lester and Bertie (Campbell) Phillips. Carl was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Invasion of Normandy in WWII. He worked for 25 years for Riehle Manufacturing. Carl always believed in helping others and he could fix anything Carl is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy; children, Sandra (Daniel) Pavuk, Richard Phillips and Diane (Kerry) Obitz; 8 grandchildren and14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and many cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at Arista Home Care for all their care and support for Carl and the family. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday November 16, 2017 in the funeral home with interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
