Carl G. Gressler, Jr

Carl G. Gressler Jr., age 81, of Monclova, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on April 25, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio to Carl and Viola Gressler, Sr. Carl retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford after 30 years and also operated a bulldozing and wrecker service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but especially loved boating. Carl was a self taught musician and often played at the Perrysburg Senior Center. He also appreciated going to antique tractor shows. Carl is survived by his children, Lawrence John Drewes; Rhonda Jim Adams; Thomas Debra Drewes; Rick Barbara Drewes; and Randy Terry Drewes; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren and special friend, Illa Frusher. Also surviving are brother, Victor Gressler and sister, Vivian Dunn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Argyle nee Perry and brother, Albert Gressler. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Roth Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
