Carl E. Doyle, Jr.

Carl E. Doyle, Jr. 68, of Woodville, Ohio, died Friday, October 7, 2016 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, Ohio. Carl was born in Marked Tree, Arkansas on August 2, 1948 to Carl E. and Maggie (Guthrie) Doyle, Sr. Carl was the owner of Marble Home Improvement Co. for 30 years retiring in 2001. After retirement he drove a quarry truck for White Rock Quarry in Clay Center, OH and later he drove a semi for Haldon Miller Trucking until 2012. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the Sycamore Grove Pool League and the O.O.B.L. He loved to go fishing and was an avid NASCAR and boxing fan. He was a craftsman when it came to wood working, creating many unique and interesting projects. While he enjoyed many things, helping others was his heartfelt passion; no matter the situation. Carls survivors include his daughters, Christine Doyle-King and Carolyn Doyle, both of Woodville, OH, grandchildren, Becky (Zach) Schulte, Breanna (Kevin) Nero, Megyn (Cody) Nero, Joshua Doyle, Alaina (Jake) Cantu, great grandson, Carter Schulte, the love of his life, Linda Orth, and siblings, Betty Kirk, Esteline Pat Hurst, Dan (BJ) Doyle and Dan Stiner, best friends, Rudy Lopez, Kenny Wolford, Dennis Mazur, Mike Smith and Kenny Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Janice Nero, former wife, Jean (Serwicki) Doyle and siblings, Martha Doyle, Jannie Doyle and Mary Hurst. A funeral service for Carl will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, OH. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 800 S. Detroit Ave., Toledo, OH 43609 or the Bono Baptist Church, 967 Main St., Martin, OH 43445.
