CALVIN D. HENRY Calvin D. Henry, 81, of Perrysburg, OH died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born in Perrysburg on March 18, 1930 to Clair and Margaret (Warner) Henry and was married in Youngstown, OH on June 7, 1952 to Phyllis E. Buckles. Cal was a Korean War veteran serving in the Air Force. He was a lifetime self-employed livestock dealer and manufacturer of specialized slip-on-sides containers retiring in 1984. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg, Phoenix Lodge #123 F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, the Zenobia Shrine where he was involved with the Jesters, Lancers, and Campers. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; son, Larry J. (Delores) Henry of Houston, TX; daughter, Marilyn K. (Tommie) Austin of Phoenix, AZ: granddaughter, Allison Henry; brother, Donald (Carolyn) Henry of Perrysburg, and sister, Margaret Dennison of Ft. Lauderdale, FL Friends will be received from 2-9 P.M. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133) where Masonic services will be at 7:00 P.M.. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. on, Thursday, May 19, 2011, with Pastor Terry Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to First United Methodist Church of Perrysburg, Shrine Children’s Hospitals or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
